Welcome to North Idaho’s Premier ATV-UTV club!

Back Country ATV-UTV Association is an organization dedicated to keeping our public lands open to the public. One of the ways to achieve this goal is by increasing our membership where as we collectively have a larger voice in land issues then we would as individuals. We also take environmental concerns seriously. Public lands should be left in as good condition or better when we’re done riding.

Please take a look around our web site, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us with suggestions, we’d love to hear them. Perhaps you don’t live in our area but would like to support the sport of ATV-UTV take a look in the join link and sign up as a business member or simply make a donation to our efforts.

Thank you for visiting our web site, and remember to have fun & ride safe!

The next ride is this Saturday, September 29 to Noxon, Montana with ride leader, Doug Lynch!

Please meet at the Snake Pit in Kingston, ID no later than 9:00 am. From there everyone will drive to the staging area. The ride is about 80 miles long, so the return time will be approximately 4:00 or 5:00 pm.

Directions to the Snake Pit:  Take the Kingston exit off of I90 (if it is open).  If not open, go to the Pinehurst exit and turn back going West on I90 then take the Kingston exit or use the frontage road from Cataldo to get to Kingston.  Hopefully, the Kingston exit will be open.  From the Snake Pit everyone will drive up to the staging area at the Hawkeye campground.

Directions to the Staging Area (Hawkeye):  From the Snake Pit, follow the river road about 20-25 miles and turn right on FR412.  Follow for 5 miles and look for the forest service bathroom and large camping/parking area on the right.

BRING YOUR LUNCH or plan to eat at one of the restaurants in Noxon.

This ride has always been one of the favorites with the showing of Fall colors! 😀
